The house was totally amazing. They had everything you could want and more. The setting was so peaceful. There were several places the family could hang out as a group or individually. We’ve stayed at Hilton Head in 2025 and Nags Head the year before and they were great but nothing compare to this house.

Family of 14 (8 adults and kids aged 6-13). House is thoughtfully curated throughout, loved the mid century modern aesthetic. Plenty of space for a large group to spread out, the Sonos sound system is awesome, kitchen is large and well equipped (extra fridge in pantry), beds are super comfy and lower family room was ideal for movie night. The Pool was the HIT of the week for everyone but we also managed to visit Holland and Saugatuck, went strawberry picking and hiked up Mount Baldhead. Back at the house we enjoyed relaxing on the porch overlooking the scenic pond which was a great spot for the birdwatchers in our family (more than 30 different birds identified). Kids and adults both got a kick out of the flamingo pedal boat, the SS Jane Ponda. Our host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely like to return during blueberry season and when the hydrangeas at Two Oaks are in bloom!

It is rare that a VRBO photos do not do the property justice......and while the site photos were great, this property exceeded our expectations for a private setting on a beautiful site.

We chose this gorgeous, secluded home from the beautiful photos. When we arrived, we were absolutely stunned by the beauty of our surroundings. The pond, backyard and swimming pool were so beautifully placed that everywhere you’d turn, you saw beauty! The outside setting is the showpiece of this wonderful property. We found ourselves wanting to spend every minute outdoors. When we walked inside, the newness and cleanliness were what we first noticed. The kitchen, sunroom, dining area and living room are so tastefully decorated and outfitted with everything imaginable. In a little area off the dining space, there is a pantry with a full sized refrigerator and other equipment. We also thought it was especially brilliant that the half bathroom on this floor was accessible from the kitchen area as well as from the outside porch. When this house was designed, the comfort of guests was very obviously the top priority. The five bedrooms, each with a king size bed and private bathroom was in our mind, a true luxury for our family. Our two grandchildren fell in love with the bunk beds and private bathroom. It gave everyone the privacy they wanted, especially at bedtime. A great addition was the upstairs lounge, where anyone could choose to relax in alone or with others. The lower level is complete with another king size bed, bathroom and magnificent theater and bar area. We cannot wait to return again. This home is a true luxury, and Bob is an extraordinary host.
