About this house rental
Located in the grounds of the Mas Viticole La Dournie near the town of Saint-Chinian (34), you can live the experience of staying in a wine estate, surrounded by its vineyard, its large park with a view of the mansion dating from the 20s, also giving access on foot to the swimming area in the stream that runs along the estate "le Vernazobre" and a stone's throw from its chapel also dating from the same period. Our cottage "Chez Simon" offers a large living space with open fireplace, a relaxation area with television and its authentic winegrower's table reminiscent of the large tables of the families of yesteryear... This large living room gives access to a large independent kitchen, fully equipped (separate oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, utensils, cookware ... ), a first bathroom with toilet and shower cabin is on the same level.
Access to the bedrooms is via a spiral staircase with a landing leading to each of them. Each room has its own charm and has a 160*190 bed, a large built-in closet with shelf and wardrobe, each of them has large windows offering a different view of the site, on the same level is a large bathroom, with toilet, bathtub, a door will give you access to the laundry room equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, its iron and ironing board.
Recently renovated, our Gîte "Chez Simon" offers a fresh, airy and refined atmosphere, mixing modernity and authenticity. Its location makes it an atypical place, you will be 10 minutes by bike (5 minutes by car and 30 minutes on foot) from the heart of Saint-Chinian to enjoy its traditional markets every Thursday and Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm, explore the various hikes (PR43-44) with the theme "From Moulin to Capitelles", or the path of the 1001 Stones from Villepassans, and why not try the hike "Le Dolmen" from Cabazan, so many preserved and natural sites to discover... and we will be delighted to welcome you so that you can discover our magnificent and peaceful place of life.
