We are so happy we stayed here when we were in Shimoda. The pics are real - this is right on the beach. Great outdoor area and we had an ocean view. We got lucky with the weather, but the ocean was clear blue. Food in the restaurant was great. Staff was nice. We booked 3 nights but ended up staying 4.

The location was perfect! Quiet and right on the beach. The staff are very nice, kind and fun. Food is simple yet delicious. Our room was very nice with lovely amenities. We will return!
The stairs are steep with no handrails 😩

Amazing location right by the coolest surf beach, just a short walk from the bus stop. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The little private sauna is really cool!
The rooms are very clean and have all the equipment that you need but they are a bit dated
