Totally disappointed
The location
The property was a total nightmare. I was informed by Tammy about a two-plate stove due to a previous occupant breaking the oven and the stove not working. I accepted that. I bought groceries for over R3000 for the 4 days that I would be staying at Eden on bay. tammy very positively assured us that the gas braai would be also working. The braai was disgustingly filthy. The two-plate stove was a nightmare. It took forever to heat up and I had to rotate the plates. Dinner, no exaggeration took 3 hours to make a simple chicken curry on my 1st night.
on the 2nd day, we discovered the ignitor was not working on the gas braai and the gas braai was not clean. Tammy said she would get someone to come in the next morning to sort the ignitor and asked for permission for access into the property whilst we were out for my daughter birthday. we got back at 3:30 and still no one came to sort the problem. We were so disappointed as we were going to prepare afternoon dinner for kiddies for my daughter's birthday. When Abdul the maintenance guy came, we were confused about the place, he took photos of everything and seemed surprised. We also discovered there was no gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He then said he was changing shifts and the new shift will bring the gas cylinder. This came after 7pm. The maintenance of the property was a nightmare. on the surface, it looked good, but as you stayed in it, it was a total disappointment. I am dusgusted
