Very disappointed
The location was central to the parks, shopping and other attractions.
The house was spacious with plenty of towels and an air hockey table in the garage.
I wish there were more positive things to say but sadly there isn’t.
Cons: I sent several messages to the property weeks before we left to make sure the pool was heated as it stated to do, there was no reply. I called 3 times and left messages with no reply as well.
Upon arrival we had to pay $25, which was non refundable for a gate key, normally when you return the key you get your money back but not the case here. This was never stated at the time of booking.
The booking included early check in, late check out and a bottle of wine. This did not happen, No early check in and no late check out and no bottle of wine. No big deal but don’t offer it.
The lowest the AC went was 70, the bedrooms were hot, there were pedestal fans which we had to clean before use as they were caked with dust and grime.
The beds and bedding were old and mattresses in the full size beds were very uncomfortable. Single beds were ok.
The main issue was the bugs, the kitchen counters were crawling with them. I messaged twice and sent pics, I did receive a reply that they would contact pest control but no one showed up. Any food you had to leave on the counter was wasted as bugs were in them. We also let them know there was a gecko in the kitchen. I get this happens but there was no attempt to have pest control while we were there. The vents in the ceiling are also filthy, the ceilings are black.
There was someone else’s dirty socks behind the nightstand and cigarette butts by the pool. The toilet in the first bathroom didn’t flush properly and there was no water pressure in the sink.
The pool enclose was full of pine needles and debris and the screen is ripped in multiple places. No screen on the patio door.
The patio cushions on the patio beds were filthy and had to be covered to lay on them. We contacted them on two occasions because the hot tub stopped working. They did arrive a couple times to fix this issue but it would then stop working again.
