Welcome to the historic school in the Stöbnitz district of Mücheln.
Mücheln is centrally located in one of the most beautiful regions of Central Germany (10 km from the Freyburg vineyards, 20 km from the cathedral cities of Merseburg and Naumburg, or to the Romanesque Route leading to Querfurt).
Or perhaps you simply want to enjoy the tranquility of what is currently Germany’s largest artificial lake...
You can be at the beach in 10 minutes or at the harbor in 15 minutes, yet still have your peace and quiet. (Also in front of us, as it’s a separate building)
Stay in one of the approximately 80-square-meter teacher’s apartments at the historic Pauline am See School—named after the lignite mine of the same name—which have been lovingly renovated and expanded since 2014. The school was built in 1890 and is situated on a 1,700-square-meter lot in the historic center of Mücheln, in the Stöbnitz district.
With two furnished terraces and the old schoolyard—now a garden—the property offers plenty of play space for children. Parking is also available on the property at no charge.

The apartment is non-smoking; smoking is permitted only outside the building.
It’s about 300 meters to the Geiseltalsee loop trail, a 10-minute walk to the swimming beach, and a 15-minute walk to the Mücheln Marina.
So why not give your car a break and explore the area around Lake Geiseltal on foot or by bike?
Included:
Bedding and towels
Wi-Fi/Internet (max. 2 Mbit/s available)
TV/Radio
Crib/high chair
Barbecue facilities (grill provided; you must provide your own charcoal)
