When we arrived Lisa was there to greet us with a smile and treated us so well, she walked us around the lodge and told us about the history of the building. It was so clean and the views were amazing.
Very nice breakfast in the morning and there was a fridge to keep our meals in as well.
The homemade banana bread was delicious made by Lisa of course ☺️
I highly recommend staying at this lodge, clean rooms very welcoming and a feeling of home away from home.
Thank you again Lisa for making us feel so welcomed.

Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road which was dark from the Kicking horse Drive sitting on top of the Columbia River. Can be a little scary to drive through in the evening. Everything else was fine.

The lodge was clean and so was our room. The continental breakfast was not fancy, but had all the basics and was well stocked. Madia and staff were very attentive to our needs. The rooms and the lodge were very quiet. A great place to relax. Unfortunately, for us we were there at a time when the smoke from the fires was heavy, so we couldn’t really appreciate the views. We would make this a regular get away if we lived closer.
