About this apartment rental
This spacious, bright, fully furnished and equipped to a high standard apartment with WiFi is situated in an ideal location within this purpose built upmarket development with private rear garden facing West for great sunsets and overlooking the pools and recreational facilities. Air conditioned/heated throughout with private garden and terrace accessed from lounge. At Oasis Parque the large indoor pool and Jacuzzi (heated in winter) and outdoor pools, tennis courts and children's play area have secure access and is maintained to a high standard. Alvor is a small traditional fishing town in which there are many excellent bars and good value restaurants with local and international cuisine. Alvor beaches are superb with numerous delicious fish restaurants and Portimao marina and Praia da Rocha is also within a few minutes drive. There are also numerous superb golf courses within a few minutes drive of the development.

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. Really large and really well equipped. Perfect spot for our family with young children. The indoor pool was perfect for an April stay too.

We stayed for 2 weeks as a family of 3 adults and one small child.
The Good: The apartment is spacious and well located. Everything (grocery stores, gas stations, beaches, restaurants, shopping mall) all less then 15 minute drive away. There was a small welcome "basket" in the unit upon checking in, which was nice and appreciated. No issues with parking, there was always a spot available. Well stocked if you have small children (highchair, beach toys, and a new addition of a small umbrella stroller we left behind). Well stocked with extra towels and sheets.
The Bad: The apartment was not well cleaned. There was long hair all over the floor, stains on the couches, some of the sheets smelled of body odor. The last thing you want to do after a 7 hour drive is clean and change laundry, so VERY disappointed on this front. When the cleaning service came through at the half way point of our vacation, I noticed she changed all the sheets, but not all the mattress covers. The mattress covers she did remove, she didn't replace with a clean one. Why?? Although the kitchen was "well stocked", it was very disorganized and many of the kitchen items are broken, dented, scratched and are due to be replaced. There wasn't a single extra roll of toilet paper or paper towel provided. Never rented a unit that doesn't have at least one extra roll especially when the one provided is already half used up. A/C worked but had a musty smell, the filter probably needs to be cleaned.
