The property is sat on the side of a hill with views to die for the place has been decked out pretty high spec. We dealt with the granddaughter and the rest of the family must be absolutely lovely because they don’t bring up people as nice as that if they’re not.

The property was lovely and had spectacular views overlooking the Douro and countryside
It was off the beaten track and very quiet
The facilities were exceptional and the swimming pool was lovely
The location although beautiful was difficult to find and to access the places we wanted to see

A quiet spot on the hillside. Nice view from the window. Very clean and cozy. Swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen. Good supermarket in the nearest town.
A slightly clearer explanation of the check-in process. More visible signs pointing to the house. The hosts don't speak English, but they are very sweet and friendly. We got some help from our neighbors with translation:)
