Nice place but needs better attention to maintenance, review of smart lock functionality.
Nice building, comfy furnishings, and very clean.
Key code provided did not work when we arrived. Spent 40 minutes outside in the cold working to access the unit, most of which was spent trying to get someone to answer my call and waiting for someone who could actually help to come into the office as the host on duty stated she didn't have access to the properties in the Tampa area, only the Keys. After we accessed the unit, we found the main floor heat was not working and the temperature was 62 F. (The upstairs heat seemed to be working fine.) This was a minor annoyance but we dealt with it. Half the reason I booked the property was for the private pool/spa, but we tried to heat up the spa by following the instructions for the control pad only to realize after an hour the spa was not heating at all. I went around back and found the heat pump was off and traced the problem to a tripped breaker. Had to reset the breaker and mess with controls for awhile to finally get the heat pump running, and by then it was too late at night for the water to heat. (The water was starting from a very cold temp due to the recent cold spell. Had no reference for how long to expect it to heat, but found it took several hours.) We found loose parts inside the dishwasher in the morning after breakfast, rendering it inoperable. The unit was otherwise a very comfy place to lounge and I felt the directions and guide were quite clear but I spent most of time there trying to troubleshoot problems and didn't get to relax there how I intended, which was quite disappointing at the price point. The checkout time is also somewhat early at 10am and the hosts were inflexible on the checkout time but allowed us to stay to 10:30am after the checkin debacle.
