About this cabin rental
Native cottonwood trees and 4 Mile Creek surround you with the sights and sounds of nature and tranquility. Relax in comfortable wicker chairs as the sun rises to greet you on your covered front porch. Prepare your favorite breakfast in the full kitchen and take your pick of all the adventures the area has to offer. Head off to the Arkansas River Trail just minutes away where you can hike, bike and walk the dog along a wide gravel trail. Take in the beautiful farmland, pastures and natural wooded areas all around you. The Royal Gorge Park with its suspension bridge and train are just an 8 minute drive from the cabin. This area is well known for white water rafting, mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing. The secluded, private cabin is just minutes away from historic downtown Canon City. Main street offers many unique shops, architecture, restaurants, art galleries, breweries, roof top dining and the St. Abby's Winery. The city has lots of activities from antique car shows, to street fairs and music festivals. After a long day, grill out front and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Wet Mountains. On a clear night sit on the bench by the creek while the stargazing and rushing water combine to create wonderful memories. Build a fire in the brick fire ring on the beach area and roast marshmallows. (Check fire ban status with Canon City Fire Dept at (719) 275-8666.) Inside the cozy cabin, relax on the dual recliner sofa before retiring upstairs to a large bedroom with 2 queen size beds. Let the sound of the creek lull you into a good night’s sleep. Note: The stairs are very steep. See photos. Light switches are at the top and bottom along with handrails. Please consider this for young children under 13 and adults with limited mobility. Our house rules define the number and size of dogs along with leash requirements.

Beautiful, quaint cabin with all necessary amenities. The host was kind and thoughtful! We walked in to a handwritten card and treats welcoming us; there were even welcome treats for any fur babies! The cabin is perfectly located close to Main St. in Canon City. Beds were very comfortable, the AC units kept the cabin very comfortable in the 100 degree heat outside, and the cabin was stocked with anything one may need (shampoo, conditioner, soap, brand new toothbrush, razor, etc). The cabin had plenty of games available to play, a TV, and beautiful deck to watch the sun set behind the mountains. This will definitely be our choice for accommodations any time we are in Canon City. Thank you, Shari and Mike!

This little cabin is quiet and peaceful, yet still close to downtown Cañon City. It has everything you need to feel right at home. I will stay here again!

I will definitely return and stay longer. The location is easy to get in and out. Very quiet and relaxing right next to the running creek. The cabin has everything for comfort and it's perfectly clean. Im super picky, but I couldn't find anything that the owner could do to make it better. A gem for couples, singles, or small families. The stairway is steep with small steps, just use caution.

Everything was just as stated, we really enjoyed your place in Canon City, the view is fantastic with wildlife. The running water at the creek right beside cabin was very therapeutic. Had a deer within 20 yds. Awesome place. Thank you so much!
