We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna.
This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa.
The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm.
You must also make sure you pay all due taxes at check-in if you plan to checkout before 7am.
There are excelent trattorias in Cavazzona and Castlefranco.

We stayed for 4 nights here, in mid april, a very quite and peaceful place. You can get a good sleep here and wake up with the sound of only birds singing. Breakfast is decent, good enough of variety and choices to start the day with. Not that close to major cities but Bologna is about a 20 minutes drive. I don't know how public transportation is in the area but with car it's good accessible.

Lovely peaceful area and great for seeing the motor factory tours. Breakfast was minimal. Kettle and tea provided but no cups or coffee so we took some from the breakfast but the cleaner took them away so don't know what the kettle was for.
Clean and tidy great stay.
