Not worth and with cockroaches

The apartment is much smaller then on the photos and has no windows- only windows to the patio. We have arrived to the apartment with a crawling baby, and in the first 15min of our stay, we found a massive cockroach still moving but laying in its back. We immediately left to look for another place to stay, and when returned to pick up our luggage we found two more cockroaches also moving and dying. I don’t know what kind of chemicals are used there, but for everyone’s health, especially our baby, we had to leave. The host agreed to cancel our reservation free of charge. I also think that 160 euros per night is way too much for this apartment (even without the cockroaches)

Easy place to stay. We parked on the street every night. Great value.

Convenient to downtown and all the major sites. 2 Beds (one queen size and one pullout couch) and 2 Full bathrooms!

The internet went out, so we couldn’t use WiFi for a day.

Great, comfortable apartment!

The apartment was spacious and had lots of natural light. The layout made for a very comfortable stay, and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils and staples we needed. Checking in was very easy!

The WiFi didn't work the week we were there. The host was responsive and tried to reboot the router remotely but it didn't fix the issue.

Perfect base for exploring Sao Miguel island

Comfortable and clean apartment with all the facilities we needed. Very quiet location, ideally placed to explore Ponta Delgada on foot and the rest of the island with a hire car. The gin station is a nice touch :) As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathroom got quite steamed up - we left the radiator and extractor fan on for a bit longer, and this resolved the issue.

We were usually able to park our hire car in the (very narrow) street outside the apartment, or luckily found a space in a free public car park (just a couple of minutes walk away), but I'm sure this could be tricky at busier times.
