Menstrual Blood On Mattresses. Broken Sharp Glass In Bedrooms. No Beds Made Up. Awful. Dirty. Old.

The location, the surrounding fields, the remoteness of the property, the beautiful garden area, plenty of parking

Awful. Worst property we have stayed in in 10 years of booking with booking.com. This property should be removed from booking.com. The reviews on this listing are clearly misleading or dishonest, this is no way a 9.7 property. The reviews are either false, or given by their friends. I arrived late in the night from another country after 12 hours of travelling with a party of seven aged 4 to 74. 1. Menstrual blood stains on dirty old soft mattresses. (see photos) 2. No beds made up, no sheets, no towels, just bare mattresses. When the owner was asked why no beds were made up, replied, "We don't do that." It took us an hour to find all the sheets and make the beds before everyone could sleep. (see photos) 3. We had to find the linen from the washing area and put it on ourselves, we had to go to an outdoor storage area to get towels under the owner instructions, towels had insects on them. 4. Old, dirty, malfunctioning washing machine (see photos) 5. Large cracks on a bedroom mirror with sharp glass, a hazard for young children (see photos) 6. Bathroom sink blocked (see photos) 7. No hand soap in the kitchen. 8. Sofa bed soft and old and not suitable for sleeping. 9. Only four eating bowls. 10. Shower water doesn't drain, leading to large puddles on the bathroom floor which has to be contained with towels. We complained to Booking.com and they have gieven us a token refund while they continue to investigate the rest of this matter. The owners refused to take responsibility for any of this and refused to refund us any of the £2000 we paid to stay in this property for five nights. Don't be fooled by the reviews and the professional photographs like we were.

Exceptional

Really nice place, would have wanted to spend more time at the house but we had a tight schedule in legoland and lalandi with the kids. Would like to come here again if I go back to denmark someday

Wonderful place

The place is the best I've ever been to. A peaceful and quiet surroundings. The house itself is spacious and equipped perfectly, very clean. Small details such as danish kitchen towels or old blue funnels make it cosy and homely The kids loved the playground whereas the parents enjoyed a grill outside :) The host is very helpful and caring. I recommend it with all my heart.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Beautiful place with great atmosphere.

It was simply the perfect place for us (two families with kids). Close to Legoland, spacious, well equipped with a beautiful garden, grill area and great atmosphere of the place itself. Beautiful set up and well arrangend interior.

No complains at all!
