The location was perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to everything we wanted to see. There’s private parking, which was very convenient. Our host, Pilar, was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly kind and happy to help with anything we needed, and she even left a lovely welcome basket of treats for us at the entrance :)
The property is large and very spacious, with a big pool and a wide lawn area. The whole place feels truly pastoral and relaxing.
The bed was quite small for two adults. Some of the furnishings in the room are a bit dated and could use some updating.

What a delightful place to stay and so convenient for the heart of Ponta Delgada. It is only a short walk right into the centre of town and numerous very good restaurants, close to the market and a little walk down to the port.
Pilar wasn't there when we arrived but we were greeted by her housekeeper, Elisabeth, and her two gorgeous dogs.
Our studio was cosy but spacious and we arrived to a very generous basket of goodies which set us off to a flying start for this self-catering stay.
There is a lovely swimming pool, right next to the studios, and various sitting areas, one with board games which we used a lot!
Shortly after we arrived we received an email from Pilar with her recommendations for exploring the island of Sao Miguel. This was invaluable, even though we have visited the island before. I wish more hosts were as considerate.
The two dogs, Lolita and Amelia, were an integral part of our stay, always around but never being a nuisance.

The room was spacious and well organized. The bed was very comfortable, as well as the pillows. We received a very nice welcome basket. Even though the whole wall to the courtyard was made entirely of glass you had the needed privacy as there were curtains and blinds that you could pull over the entire wall. Pilar was very nice and gave us many details regarding what to do and where we can go. The highlight of our stay was not the pool (although it was clean and very nice), but Lola and Amelia, some of the most loving dogs in the world! They were very friendly and we absolutely loved them! The property was very well located, just a short 10 minutes walk to the city center.

Spacious, quiet neighborhood
There were some dogs left unattended and barking whole night. Pool is a decorative rather than usable with cleaning robot dropped inside all the time.
