I LOVED my stay at Basecamp Lodge. Right at the base of Mount Shasta.
One thing, the bed was not very comfortable. For the price, they really need to get better mattresses. I could feel the iron beneath, that's how thin those mattresses are.

Cute, comfortable and quiet. The rooms were clean and welcoming. It was great to have the kitchen for cooking. A nice home away from home.
Some of the outdoor furniture needed a bit of upkeep.

Very clean and pleasant. Easy check-in and check-out, and easy parking.
The room listing did not mention that we would be climbing a ladder to get to the bed. The pictures do show a ladder, but I wasn't sure which pictures corresponded with which room. Also, the ladder can get slightly slippery, which is not a good experience when we're climbing down to reach the bathroom in the middle of the night.
