Fantastic Apartment in the Old Town
We recently stayed here for 5 days and had a fantastic experience. The apartment is in a lovely, very quiet and secure area of the Old Town, which made it a perfect place to relax.
It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and extremely secure, with everything we needed for a great stay. The location is fantastic, right by the harbour and within easy walking distance of some amazing restaurants and bars.
We also loved being so close to the harbour for trips to Puerto Calero, whether walking along the coastal route or taking the boat.
We would definitely recommend this apartment and would happily stay here again. A perfect location for enjoying everything Puerto del Carmen has to offer! ❤️🌴☀️

Ubicación. Apartamento limpio. Zona tranquila, a la vez cerca de numerosos restaurantes.
Un poco complejo llegar en coche la primera vez. Se agradecerían unas indicaciones al respecto.

L’emplacement, la propreté, le calme, les attentions de l’hôte à l’arrivée (café, thé, chocolat, eau, champagne, fruits…)
Appartement agréable, bien situé, propre, et joliment préparé à l’arrivée avec quelques attentions (eau, petites bouteilles de champagne, fruits, café, thé). Sur ce point, rien à dire.
Le problème, c’est que tout cela ne compense pas un canapé-lit totalement indigne d’un hébergement touristique : matelas ultra-fin, déformé, inconfort total. Une semaine de nuits hachées qui transforment un séjour en épreuve. Un couchage pareil ne devrait même pas figurer dans une annonce, encore moins être facturé comme un vrai lit.
Nous avions réservé pour 3, puis prévenu que nous serions 4. Le supplément était prévu dès le départ, mais lors de notre rencontre à l’arrivée, la propriétaire n’a rien demandé. En fin de séjour, croisée par hasard dans la rue, elle réclame alors 175 € pour la 4ᵉ personne. Lorsque j’ai osé demander une réduction vu l’état du couchage, elle a insinué que nous étions malhonnêtes et ajouté qu’elle aurait “dû prendre l’argent dès le début”, avant de répondre sèchement : “personne ne s’en est jamais plaint”. Traduction : si les autres se taisent, pourquoi pas vous ? Les échanges par message ont été du même ton : froids, désagréables et sans courtoisie, à l’exception d’un dernier message d’excuses après que je lui ai fait remarquer qu’elle insinuait que nous étions malhonnêtes.
Finalement, elle a concédé que nous laissions “ce que nous estimons juste”. Nous avons donné 80 €, fait le ménage complet par correction… et sommes repartis sans un mot de remerciement.
Pour résumer : appartement bien, propre, bien placé… mais seulement si vous êtes deux et que vous dormez dans la chambre.
