Misleading photos, Poorly Maintained, Extremely Noisy & Disappointing experience

Nothing!! Honestly, there was very little to like about this apartment. Some parts, such as a few bathroom fittings, mirrors, tables and certain kitchen appliances, appeared to have been renovated or updated but pointless since no electrical connections ! However, these superficial improvements did very little to improve the overall experience or make the apartment comfortable and functional for guests.

Photos can be extremely deceptive. We booked this 3bedroom apartment because it reminded us of a lovely B&B in Athens, Greece. Unfortunately, the reality was disastrous. The apartment felt claustrophobic, with harsh lighting, badly fitted bulbs, exposed wires. The master bedroom had a torn headboard patched with faux leather, torn pillow covers and dusty windows. Decorative mirrors had lights but no electrical connections, and the wine cooler sat on the refrigerator without an apparent connection. Superficial renovations clearly took priority over functionality. The living room was unbearably hot because the AC blower appeared disconnected. When I contacted the owner, she warned me not to touch the Wi-Fi switch, as everything else would stop working and require reinstallation. We could barely use the living room and moved the only fan into a bedroom. Opening windows was impossible due to dust, traffic and construction. The apartment smelled strongly of bleach, bathrooms smelled unpleasant. Both bathroom was so cramped that the WC nearly touched the washbasin cabinet. Wc plates ill-fitted. There were no towel hooks. No extra toilet paper. The kitchen had a coffee jar with leftovers and two Marie biscuits, no proper mugs apart from two oddly coloured cups, and a filthy-looking, worn-out dish scrubber. Despite having a wine cooler, there was no wine opener. The main door lock was unbelievably difficult to operate. One friend had to master it, and I could not confidently enter or leave independently. It felt ancient. Noise ruined all three nights. The bedroom blowers were too loud to use, while upstairs disturbances continued until 1:30–2:00 a.m. and resumed at 5:30 a.m. None of us slept properly. The strange smell, uncomfortable interiors and constant noise made it feel like a haunted house. Money was spent on cosmetic renovations while basic comfort and functionality were neglected.

PERFECT

The apartment is very spacious and only 10 minutes from the airport, which makes it extremely convenient. There are two large shopping malls nearby, perfect for shopping and dining. The environment is calm, fresh, and peaceful, making it ideal for relaxation. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained. The host was always very communicative, friendly, and helpful, ready to assist with anything we needed. Our stay was absolutely flawless definitely a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended!
