Everything about the Domus Helena was perfect for our 8-day visit to Rome. To start, the staff was amazing and helpful. They gave us tips on where to eat and what to visit and were always very accomodating to what we needed. The AC in the rooms was a welcome relief from the July heat, and the room was always clean and fresh. We really appreciated the morning breakfast with a vast assortment of food and goodies to munch on before we started our day. To give an idea, the hotel is about a 5-minute walk away from the nearest Metro station and about a 12-minute walk from the Colosseum. We will definitely stay at the Domus Helena on our next visit to Rome!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Termini, as we arrived via the Train from the airport. It is also convenient to the Vittorio Emanuele Metro station which we used several times and within a reasonable walking distance to the Colosseum. While the hotel’s construction and furnishings are simple, they are high quality and well maintained. The included breakfast was well attended to, with plenty of selections. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, they arranged a car to take us back to the airport very early in the morning, which was extremely helpful. The air conditioning was great since the temperatures in Rome were almost 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

I love the hotel. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I felt welcome and taken care of. Great hotel, clean and the mist important had AC. Breakfast had many options even for people who are gluten free. I enjoy my stay.
