We recently stayed at the Fairmont Hotel in Pecos while visiting from Dallas. The room itself was fine, but there were several issues that made our stay less enjoyable.
The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. On one morning, when we arrived to eat, they were completely out of eggs and sausage, there were no plates available, and I had to ask the staff to prepare fresh food. The breakfast selection was very limited, with only eggs, sausage, and a few cold items offered.
The day before, breakfast was supposed to be served until 10:00 a.m., but staff began putting food away around 9:40 a.m. Guests should be able to enjoy the full breakfast service during the posted hours.
Another issue was the dining area itself, which was uncomfortably hot while eating.
We also experienced very poor water pressure in the shower, making it difficult to get a comfortable shower.
Overall, there is room for improvement, especially with breakfast service, maintaining food availability during posted hours, and addressing the water pressure.
