I seriously enjoy staying at The Mariner's. Full of character, very clean, lovely food (generous portions), nice bar and I really cannot speak too highly of the very friendly & helpful staff.
Just superb.

Another excellent & enjoyable stay at The Mariner's.
On average, I have stayed at The Mariner's every other month for the past 3 years which should tell you something. As a result, I have stayed in many different rooms.
Despite being of differing sizes & layouts (the building is over 400 years old), I can attest to the fact that they are all of a generous size, very clean, well maintained & comfortable.
Breakfast continues to be excellent and the helpful & friendly staff will do their utmost to accommodate dietary preferences.
Lovely bar with a nice patio area. Parking is good too.
It doesn't need to be said that I love staying here and look forward to my next visit very much.
It's dog friendly too.
