Hampton Inn by Hilton Detroit Dearborn

Beds are hard!!! Everything else perfect. Recommend a mattress topper for those beds

The hotel is clean and centrally located to a variety of restaurants and short drive to GreenField Village. There is off street parking for guest and close to the entrance. Breakfast is fairly tasty with eggs, potatoes, cereal, waffles etc. Front desk staff are nice. David was especially helpful. However, as I was leaving my room for the day around 11am, I asked the housekeeper in the hallway by my room for more towels. She told me to ask the front desk instead. I went down to the front desk and they made a note that I needed towels. Upon returning, I only had large towels but no face, hand or bath mat. I had to go back down to the front desk and David told me the housekeeper should NOT have said that and during morning hours housekeeping is expected to help with that. I didn't appreciate having multiple trips to the front desk for towels. The shower basin creaks terrible to the point that it needs a replacement and you can hear it very loadly outside the closed bathroom door. There might be an issue with the subfloor. We had the street side room so you can hear traffic if someone zooms by on bike but I have that at home so I could sleep through it. Overall, I'd return because it was a great option for us on a short stay, clean and helpful staff with the exception one housekeeper. Beds are decently comfy too.

Breakfast was great! Staff was so kind great experience

We needed a last-minute hotel because of severe storms in Detroit area and the Hampton Inn in Dearborn met all of our needs.
