I was in town for a funeral, and the weather was unusually bad. The staff managed to make these unrelated events happier for me. Melina at reception always upbeat, attentive and was able to accommodate my early arrival, even placed me in a room with a view. The dining area manager George was easygoing and funny. Maintenance staff were also great. The Tru is a bit away from more central Minneapolis amenities, but all you'd want in a simple room- tidy, quiet, and comfortable. They made a difficult time for me much easier and pleasant.

Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of food options. The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation. Valet parking was the easiest and best option but I feel it's way over priced.
