This Parador is a magnificent castle located in a beautiful seaside town with a charming harbor, lovely beaches, and a scenic walkway surrounding the fortress. The views are incredible, and the food is excellent. The Galician people are incredibly warm and welcoming. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend visiting.

Location, location location. An historic place, located in a peninsula ((guess it was an island before), very close to the beach promenade. Luscious grounds and breathtaking views of the bay. The views from our window were spectacular.
Hotel is well kept. Staff is professional and corteous, a little dry on the front desk, but not so at the restaurant and bar, where the staff was always smiling and helpful. Very refreshing.
Our room was spacious and well appointed, with gorgeous views. Breakfast was very good. My only suggestion is to have freshly squeezed orange juice, like they have i other Paradores.
But if you are considering Baiona, this is the place to stay.
