Hotel Monte Cenci was perfect for our 4 nightstay in Rome. Right upon arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, explaining useful tips for exploring the city. They also put rose petals in the shape of a heart on our bed and left us a bottle of champagne to welcome us on our honeymoon. They recommended some great local restaurants and even got us a reservation at one. The room was very clean and had very good AC - the weather was 38 degrees basically our whole stay but in our room we were cold (good thing), which was a welcome reprieve from the heat. It is also a great central location. If you are walking as most of the major sites are a 20 min walk away or less, with only a couple of them being closer to 30 mins. Trastevere is a quick 5 min walk across the bridge which has tons of great restaurants and is very lively at night. However if it's too far or you don't feel like walking, they are also extremely helpful in calling you a taxi anytime you need one, which will be there every time in 4 mins or less. Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend Hotel Monte Cenci for anyone looking for a great stay in Rome. If we ever end up back, I honestly wouldnt even bother looking elsewhere. Fantastic all around!

Great location, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed cocktails on the roof patio each evening.
