The Claremont offers clean, comfortable accommodation and ideally placed just a few minutes walk from the harbour and fishing village of Polperro. It has it's own car park, and although it doesn't have a 24/7 reception, it'll provide you with a code to get back into the hotel if you go out. The breakfast was complimentary and offered plenty of choice, catering to most tastes. You can even have it al fresco if you want. There's tea and coffee making facilities in the room along with a bottle of water. Polperro itself is a charming village with plenty of shops and dining opportunities, and is a good base to see more of this wonderful county. It was good value for money, and all the staff were very helpful.

The Claremont is a lovely welcoming hotel, with a wonderful location in the village and parking just opposite. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are generous. NB the stairs for those with dodgy knees but I thought them worth it!
