overall experience is good. nearby alot of restaurants and walking distance to klcc. check in is smooth and clean room.
Just that the lift is always full and requires a little patience.

This was my first time staying at Scarletz Suites, and I was pleasantly surprised!
The room was bigger than I expected- it had a dining area and kitchenette- and I had a nice view. The vibe in and around the hotel is kind of 'backpacker fashionable', with several affordable restaurants nearby, and the Petronas Towers a less than 10 minute walk away. The pool and gym were both really nice- I would come back for the pool alone!
A few things were a bit strange- the level 8 garden is a bit neglected, so not somewhere that people might want to spend a lot of time, and some areas of the hotel had a weird smell, which I think was coming from the drains. Also, I was expecting the rooftop restaurant to be open, and it, plus a lounge up there, seemed to be not opening yet, with furniture still wrapped up in plastic.
All in all, I would check for availability here first, the next time I'm coming back to KL. It had an authetically 'hip' vibe, and is good value, vs the nearby W Hotel, which is hoping to capture a similar feel but at 5x the price.

Be prepared to wait a while the elevators. 4 elevators for over 40 plus stories. During peak times queues are long and elevators packed.
