As you settle into the place, you'll find luggage storage and air conditioning. You can also use the rainfall showerhead, plus other bathroom amenities like towels, shampoo, and soap. No need to pay for a restaurant every night, when you've got a stovetop and a refrigerator on hand, as well as an electric kettle, cookware, and spices. This is not a traditional hotel in the sense that there's no front lobby staffed 24/7. It's a collection of rooms run I gather by a family. I arrived early and had to pay a bit additional to check in and wait until someone arrived (about 20 minutes) to get into the room. The room was small, but quite comfortable with a fridge and small kitchenette. I was even able to log into my Netflix on the TV, which was nice because there are no English channels. It's located just a block from the town's main street, which has a variety of shops and restaurants. It's about 3 more blocks down to the waterfront. It's not as close to the airport as I thought from the description, about 35 minutes by taxi in the afternoon, 20 minutes if your flight is at 6 am in the morning. I was able to arrange transportation with the owner back to the airport, even at 4:30 am, who was quite nice. I would stay there again.

Beautifu, quiet property in the heart of Artemida. Perfectly situated for bars, restaurants, groceries, and beaches. Great value and spotless communication from George, the owner. Convenient shuttle to the airport. Highly recommend.

The place, beautiful new, very cozy, the host George was very kind and I picked us up from the airport very helpful. Definitely we are coming back.

He is as advertised: a gracious and kind host. Convenient to the airport for an overnight stay. The home is comfortable and quiet. There is an airport shuttle option for a fee that I took advantage of in the early morning. Will stay here again when I am next in Athens.
