Had a great stay at Natural Bridge State Resort Park. The property was clean, the staff was incredibly helpful and the hotel located near the natural bridge.

First off, we were not organized or planned tourists. This was a bright idea last minute. In an F150 towing a Uhaul that was over weight, I decided to spend time with my kid on an unplanned adventure! This is not that smart to do at The Red River Gorge. But we had a blast
The cabin or cottage are in the actual Forest. This is a windy up and down the mountain situation. There are no areas to turn around so if you mess up or have a trailer you are done!
The cabins are in the woods! If you are not prepared with flashlights and bug spray and show up in the middle of the night, be ready for your chest to beat loudly!
The free breakfast is awesome, the staff is awesome and the cottage is like a singlewide house up in the mountains. Fully equipped with all your needs but it is a State Park. Not the 4 star resort with mints…
Study the maps because you will get lost and it is the wilderness…
NOT the place for children except on the little places made by the park . Even then do not let them roam by themselves. This is real wilderness with one wrong footstep you will be gone.
