The hotel is good. Rooms are a bit dated but have comfortable beds. The view of the Reichsburg Cochem is amazing from the balcony. Breakfast was good, the only thing lacking is fresh fruit options. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Be aware that there are no elevators,so you have to carry your suitcase up flights of stairs. Staff will do this for you if you would like, it may take a bit but they will bring it

The hotel is very unique and lovely. The room was large and we loved the balcony , really beautiful view of the castle. The bed was comfy with really big pillows, which appear to be normal in Germany. Location is ideal and the staff helped us with our parking , as there was a wine festival on, which shut off some parking.
Breakfast was first class with lots of variety and the staff looked after us really well.
