Booked for just one night to attend a nearby wedding. Room was a twin in a block of 4 located in the car park behind the pub. Modern bathroom and comfortable bedroom with TV, tea/coffee, hairdryer etc.
Rooms are traditional rather than modern but fit in with the main pub.
Breakfast was excellent - full English with cereal/juice/toast all available.
Handy for many east coast locations with lovely scenery very close.

Great place to visit if your travelling into Scarborough, not too far away to the open air thestre if your going to watch your favourite band.

Second stay at this wonderful little hotel.Family run by Tony and Debbie. The care they take of their pub shows (Tony was actually polishing the brass ware when we booked out - and there's plenty of it). Breakfast and evening meal excellent.
It really does feel like a country pub but conveniently just out of Scarborough. If you stay here you must drive through Dalby Yorkshire forest.
It's right on your doorstep.
Can't rate the Blacksmith Arms high enough and we will definitely be visiting again.
