This is a primitive hotel/chalet. No ac or television. They have a nice game room, shuffle board, ping pong, board games and puzzles in a large basement area. Near train station and glacier park entrance. Several walking distance conveniences. Nice staff

We found the Belton Chalet to be an amazing property close to the Going to the Sun road entrance in West Glacier. The room was very comfortable and clean. This historic building was a perfect location with a restaurant on the premises. We also enjoyed listening to the train coming in through the valley with a stop right at the Belton Chalet. The chalet and the grounds were well maintained with beautiful gardens and outdoor seating areas for relaxing. There was also a game room on the lower level to enjoy after a long day hiking the trails in Glacier National Park. The creaky floors added to the atmosphere of this historic place. We would definitely stay here in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Loved the history of the Belton. (heard ghosts our 3rd night) Nice proximity to the Park. Morning muffins were delicious!
