Great little spot to stay in Quinta Camacho.

I honestly don’t understand the high rating on this hotel. This was for me a huge disappointment, unfortunately. The room was extremely noisy, although they say their rooms are sound proof. That is definitely not the case. There was noise from all around! I could even hear the door bell to the hotel clearly every time it rang (which happened all day and night around obviously). I’m a heavy sleeper and usually never have problems sleeping through some noise, but this time I couldn’t which says a lot. The fridge was also making an insane amount of noise which kept me up even with earplugs. When I told the staff their “solution” was just to unplug the fridge, and thus I didn’t have a fridge for the rest of my stay.. They never followed up on the problem either. I’m extremely disappointed with this hotel. I guess you get what you pay for to some extent, but don’t advertise your rooms as being “sound proof” when it’s quite the contrary.

I had a wonderful stay at 5Q House in Bogotá. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. The breakfast was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start each day. The location is excellent, with easy access to many of Bogotá’s attractions, restaurants, and shops. I enjoyed my stay so much that I will definitely be returning to 5Q House the next time I visit Bogotá. Highly recommended!
