There were a few positives. The location is very central, and the instructions for finding and accessing the apartment were clear. Unfortunately, the overall stay was disappointing. The apartment is on a very busy main road. Even with the windows closed, traffic noise was extremely noticeable throughout the night. At times, it sounded like The Fast and the Furious outside. The building is also poorly soundproofed, and you can clearly hear neighbours in the hallway and even in their bathrooms. Cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom sink was dirty and sticky upon arrival, with visible residue. There was dust, stained walls, a stained bed and a spiderweb. Some kitchen cups had food residue and others had visible coffee stains. The sheets did not smell fresh and were very wrinkled, which made me question whether they had been properly changed and cleaned. I cannot say this for certain, but it did not give a good impression. The fitted sheet was also too small and repeatedly came off during the night. The apartment is very tired and clearly needs a serious deep clean and maintenance. The online photos look considerably fresher and better maintained than the actual apartment. There is also no elevator, so be aware if travelling with heavy luggage. The property clearly had potential and was probably lovely many years ago, but it is now in desperate need of TLC. Considering the cleanliness, condition and noise, I would not recommend staying here.

Nice spacious room in excellent location. It is upstairs. The double windows block out most of the street noise but there were a lot of car enthusiasts driving by between midnight at 4am on the Friday and Saturday night we were there.

8 / 10

Location is great and excellent communication while booking. Clear instructions. Accomodating earlier check in.
