The room was clean however because it’s in a what I call commercial building. There are codes needed to access it and the lift is extremely small so large luggage and multiple people don’t fit. The staff was helpful, when they are there.

Early check-in and very friendly and helpful staff. Great location if you want to be close to Vatican Ciry.

We spent a total of 16 days in Italy, with our first three days at this hotel and later returned for our final two days here. It was an excellent place to stay. The rooms were clean, the location very convenient... The Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, Villa Farnesina, and excellent restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Another convenience was the taxi stand just a couple of blocks away. As one does not hail taxis on the street in Rome, this stand was a nice convenience.
The beds were comfortable, the clientele was ultra-quiet, which made for a peaceful stay after a busy day exploring Rome.
Highly recommended if you are a person who appreciates quiet, comfortable accommodations in a convenient location.
