I had an enjoyable stay at the Calizo Guest House and would definitely stay there again. Considering the cleanliness, excellent A/C, location, walkable distance to the beach, and helpful host, I give this boutique hotel a solid 4.5 out of 5. It was better than some resorts I have stayed at before. The pool was great and the landscaping was eye-catching. I only take off a half a point because in being a boutique hotel, there are not as many amenities as a resort (although it had exactly what we were looking for) and because paying the security deposit over phone rather than via a more direct method was something to which I was not accustomed. But I can assure others who are considering this location that it is a legitimate business and my stay was quite comfortable.

This was a perfect quick get away with my 9 year old daughter. We needed a place in Fajardo close to our kayak and snorkeling tours and this was the perfect location. This was the cutest little hotel. It’s great that they let you use the pool before and after check in.
