Staff and facility were very satisfactory. Breakfast was not so good.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Room was clean. I did have an issue with the hot water the first morning (and a couple other small items). The maintenance person who fixed it was professional and kind. The water was warmer the next morning, however not hot enough. I did not ask, however, the staff offered to refund one night, which I appreciated.
The one big negative I will comment on, is the fact the staff wasn't at the front desk anytime I entered or left. There is a phone to pick up that will ring to alert staff someone is waiting. I consider this a safety issue, since anyone can come in without being noticed.
The train that is mentioned in other reviews didn't bother me. I would stay in this hotel again.

This is a nice place to stay! Close to all sorts of Mississippi River activities and the room was perfect. This was the 3rd time I've stayed there in 10 years and it doesn't disappoint.
