Clean, comfortable and functional room. The bath was a highlight, and the option for breakfast is in the room was appreciated, particularly with the world cup final on. You're above a pub so Saturday night was a bit loud but it doesn't shut too late and that's to be expected. Would recommend.

We had a beautifully restored room in this very old hotel. Our room had access to the front balcony but as it was blowing a gale it was not appealing. Restoration is still ongoing and I think this may have been responsible for the rather slow dinner service.
Owners are doing a great job with the restoration, and it is well worth a stay in this heritage building. The hotel has some dedicated parking spots in a big public carpark at the rear of the hotel. As it is very dark I think you are better off parking in the very well lit street in the front of the hotel. Just remember to move your car by 9:30am.
