Everything about the hotel was amazing. If I had to find something wrong I would say the rooms are on the small side compared to North American standards, but nothing we didn't live with for 10 days.

I found the hotel an excellent place to stay. Definitely would stay here again. The amenities were a welcome.
Suggestions would be to list what and where certain amenities are, for example, laundry. Which is located on the first floor along with laundry baskets. A lot of information is available in the lounge/snack area on the second floor but a copy in each room would be welcomed.
My only complaints would be the stepping in and out of the bathroom, the ledge could be marked better. Also, the rooms are not soundproof, which would have been okay, except the floor that I was on, eventually has a family or two, with kids running and screaming in the hall ways. During the day, it wasn’t such a bother but at 3am it got really annoying. Especially when it was happening every morning.

This is one of those places that are tiny but cozy. After putting my luggage on the floor I barely had room to walk XD. I even had a nicer room with a window that was presumably bigger… but anyways. Staff were excellent! Mini bar very helpful. Location easy to navigate and walk. I had a longer stay and it felt homey. The common areas are also great to lounge. I think the main selling point is the vibe. I enjoyed reading notes from other travelers and leaving my own. It was heartfelt in a way. You see lamps out front welcoming you back after a day of weary wandering. Lots of good vegetarian options in walking distance. Quiet despite being near ximending. If you are ok with high value low personal space then this is a good option!
One minus is that the WiFi seemed to have limits so when I was sharing photos it’d stop at 5/20 and refuse to continue. I’d have to cancel send and resend.
