Due to my late arrival and early departure, I did not interact directly with staff, only through messaging. However, they were VERY attentive and super helpful. The room and facility were clean and organized. It’s not the newest place in the world, but is very well kept and quite charming. I had absolutely not complaints. With the recent heat wave, the fan that was in the room was a welcome treat! Thanks for a very pleasant stay!!

Our stay at Gasthof Bären in Habkern was truly unforgettable and one of the highlights of our trip to Switzerland.
A very special thank you to Carina, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. She kindly assigned us Room 207, and waking up every morning to the breathtaking mountain views was simply magical. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home.
The breakfast each morning was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and incredibly generous, with plenty of choices to start the day perfectly. A special mention also goes to Beatrice’s son, who greeted us with a warm smile every morning at breakfast. His friendly nature and excellent service made each day begin on a wonderful note.
The entire team at Gasthof Bären made us feel welcome throughout our stay, and their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests truly set this hotel apart.
We would highly recommend Gasthof Bären to anyone visiting the Interlaken and Habkern area. Thank you, Carina, Beatrice’s son, and the entire team for making our Swiss vacation so memorable. We can’t wait to return and stay with you again!

The place is clean, quiet and comfortable. The staffs are so friendly and they prepared your breakfast dine in or to go. It is convenient to take postbus 106 to get around to Interlaken West.
