This property was designed for people who love details and appreciate a beautiful asthetic. The service was excellent there and there is a winery in walking distance (unfortunately, we did not get to experience it). Morcote is very very charming but it is so isolated. They have weddings frequently in the castle (attached to the winery) and the hotel is often booked for wedding guests so we were lucky we got to experience one day of it.

This is where you stay when you want a beautiful fairytale vacation, with amazing food and wine, birds singing, and tranquility. Every view from this place is stunning and the details put in to the interior design are incredible. The staff is so helpful which of course makes the experience that much better. Thank you for having us!!

Easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! A gorgeous example of adaptive reuse, with original 16th century convent ceilings and floors and beautiful award-winning decor throughout. The hotel is in a quaint hilltop village with private access to a castle and a winery a short hike away. The onsite restaurant is superb, with excellent food and staff. The front desk staff are also very kind and welcoming. Very comfortable bed and room with a very effective AC. You cannot go wrong here, we just loved it!
