I thought the staff was excellent. They were very helpful. The room I was in could have been cleaner. Watermarks were left in the bathroom sink. The rug was badly stained. The lighting wasn't the best and flickered on and off using the dimmer switch, so the lights had to be left "brightly" on. The bed was wonderful. The espresso machine was impossible to work. It came without directions, and I never got it to work. I did mention this to the staff and was told they had complaints about it. The staff did let me get a free coffee and take it upstairs. Breakfast was okay. I don't understand the high ratings the hotel has received. It needs renovations and updating.

Return visit with just as much positivity as before. Team provide exceptional services and eager to ensure a very pleasant trip.
A suite is fantastic with so much space, home from home soft lighting with little extra touches in what I would say is similar to a loft space in NY.
Excellent breakfast choices as always for GF and lactose free.
Well located to the shops, nice walk to the lake and restaurants
Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again

Exceptionally friendly 24h reception team keep a gentle but unobtrusive eye on the beer fridge and serve cocktails on request at all times. Substantial building works currently opposite not a problem as Henri has effective double glazing. Location is perfect for visitors - with a 2-minute walk to the Underground and a 10-minute walk to the main railway station.
