This very cute, clean and charming hotel was located in a perfect place in the Douro Wine region. We chose it because we were visiting wineries. If you are looking for a view of the river, this hotel does not offer that. The proximity to the river is very close and there are many restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast was delightful. We were very happy with our experience!

This a wonderfully renovated boutique hotel. The rooms are fantastic. The staff is wonderful. Helpful and super friendly. We had one night booked and ended up staying for three in the Superior room.
Thank you so much for your very kind service and hospitality.

Beautiful and interesting place to stay! Wonderful history to it. The place was very clean and the staff were excellent - helpful and friendly (one staff member remembered our room number on only our second morning for breakfast!). The room we stayed in was very basic but clean. Highlights were the excellent breakfast and cool architecture of the building.
