One problem we had was the shower would be okay and scorching hot, dangerously hot. Otherwise everything was great.

Very well presented, clean room. Location was top notch, nice and quiet, only the beautiful sound of the ocean.
The only issue I had was the nearly $12 surcharge. My husband and I stay in hotels on average 4 times per year, in different locations including Auckland, Tauranga and even Queenstown in June and never paid anywhere near this amount and wonder what we are actually paying for. I thought it may be a charge for the eftpos machine as I used GPay and asked if it would make a difference if I insert my bank card to which I was told, no it wouldn't make a difference.
