I got a single at Garden House and paid for the pick-up service from the airport. As a solo female traveler, I was nervous about staying here by myself, but everything was great! Gerardo picked me up right on time, safely drove me to the property, and showed me around the house. The managers kindly shared go-to spots around San Jose and nearby areas. The room was clean and tidy (and had AC). There are beautiful plants everywhere and an adorable little dog named Holly. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends/family.

I stayed here when I flew into San Jose. It's close to the airport, it's in a safe gated neighborhood. Dinner is available, breakfast is included. I will stay here again when I depart Costa Rica.

The property is in a good location close to the airport. We only stayed a night as a stopover before catching another flight down to Osa. The staff was friendly and the garden and house were great. This definitely felt like staying in a family’s house. The accommodations were mixed between private rooms and dorm like rooms. We stayed in a private room that was comfortable. It is definitely a good budget option.
