We had a wonderful stay..very nice location..clean..I would stay again..the only downside was you need to climb 27 steps to get to the lobby..we could not control the air conditioner and shower was cold in the morning.for the price and location..it worked for us.

It is a unique historical property that would be wonderful for younger travelers if it were better maintained. The location is wonderful, directly on St. Catherine's, fifty feet from the Jazz Fest. No elevator, the Hotel is on floors 2-4. The staff is friendly, but will just make excuses if you need anything. The basic cable was not working. A DVD player was provided, but no lending library. The shower curtain was held up by a single screw. The nightstand drawer had no bottom. Little things matter. It is a shame, because this place
could be a gem, if only the owners cared enough to polish it.
