the room was nice, housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. the hotel staff was very friendly and very professional. only 1 restaurant, prices were quite steep. some of the menu items were for one person and some could feed 2-3 persons but the menu did not give you that information so we found ourselves surprised by the portions a few times. the resort itself had sections that were in disarray and the biggest pool was dirty and not in use. i do understand that they have had multiple typhoons and an earthquake recently so we just stuck to the areas that had been cleaned up.

Staff was very helpful. Food was good. On the weekend it was definitely a locals resort with about 10% foreign. Once Monday came, resort was nearly empty. Had the place mostly to ourselves. The beach looked great in the pictures but not very useable. Pool was nice. It’s just wore out but the nice staff makes up for a lot of it.
