Super quiet location, rooms were beautifully done and recently refurbished. Very much liked the underfloor heating in the bathroom and super comfy bed.
The communal area and restaurant were closed when we visited but there is a fab deli, 2 mins up road and linked to wider Castle Ashby estate. Overall a gem of a hotel and ideal for quiet break to relax and refresh.

Beautiful place, awesome little village.
But has become a wellness retreat so no restaurant, Cafe, pub etc.
Had to travel to the next village for a meal. Arrived late so a bit inconvenient.
Not quiet what was advertised.
But still beautiful
