We had a lovely stay overall. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Property is beautiful, breakfast delicious, room comfortable and clean. As you have to keep doors open for ventilation, the surrounding area sounds such as motorcycles on the road and rooster next door are more apparent. Overall recommend!

La Terraza is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. It’s centrally located in the mountains of Costa Rica and there are many day trips only an hour away that can be made. The property itself is very beautiful and relaxing and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to my next trip there.

The place is secluded and the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Peter was great, he looked after me and was attentive to my needs. We shared several cups of morning java together the day i checked out. This is exactly what i envisioned a Costa Rican B&B would be like. Nestled in a tropical environment
