I always enjoy staying at the Comfort Hotel Grand Central - the location cannot be any better, the friendly welcome is always consistent and the amenities, especially the fabulous breakfast are top notch!

Very convenient location to the train station, Oslo Opera House etc. lots of restaurants nearby as well. Easy walk to the Royal Palace. Breakfast is included and options were plentiful and the price was great! Downside was the heatwave happening and like a lot of older hotels in Norway- no air conditioning which made it hard to sleep. But, staff was excellent and provided us a fan which did help through the night. Would recommend

The location was good - easy to walk to many of the places to be seen in Oslo. Very convenient for the train to the airport.
Our 1st room there was very small - not much space for anything - we had a family room. Our 2nd room there was also a family room and it was very nice - we had enough space to keep our luggage and a large bathroom. Really appreciate Kristin who was there when we checked in the 2nd time - she helped give us an early check in seeing my elderly father and took the trouble to change the room that had been blocked for us so he did not have to wait at the reception - she was also very thoughtful in offering us breakfast to go as we were checking out at 4 AM the next morning. She was extremely kind and helpful. Check out was ok - they would not let us use the door that leads directly to the station so we had to go outside with the luggage and my dad and had to use stairs to get to the station.
In case you are driving to the hotel and need to drop off your luggage, it is a bit tricky - so call the hotel and ask for specific instructions.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Central to everywhere. Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and a great breakfast. Would definitely return.
